Carbonite Named Top Private Company Award Winner by AlwaysOn

This is the fifth in the annual elite AO100 list since 2003 and nominations are submitted by investor bankers, venture capitalists and industry experts.
This only convinces us even more of the great value and service that Carbonite is providing to consumers and small businesses.
I have a friend who was initially skeptical about how useful Carbonite is. He was convinced that external Hard Disk Drives were the way to go especially with their low $ per gigabyte. However, 3 weeks ago, he grudgingly downloaded the trial and had his files backed up to Carbonite. Just 2 days ago, his entire laptop crashed and he discovered to his horror that he had forgotten to backup his files to it for a good 6 weeks. On top of that, while trying to retrieve whatever he had backed up to his Iomega, it crashed too.
He went to Carbonite and managed to retrieve everything within a few hours. To say that he is now a convert is understating it. He instructed his admin manager to purchase Carbonite for all his staff.
Nothing like a real life story to send the message across, huh?
